ABOUT FLORIDA U30
Benefits of U30
Premise: We are an aging organization with our average age player being 47 and our average age teaching professional being 49. That being said, we need to assist young professionals who are looking to pursue a career in the tennis industry.
The USPTA is taking on this problem head first and has created U30 teams across the state. The main idea of these teams is to:

Provide financial assistance for educational opportunities

Help create job opportunities and assist in career path. (Climbing the ladder)

Create a network of U30 professionals

Provide more resources for our young teaching professionals

Help create a mentoring system from their own age demographic

Help to create a voice for our U30's

To eventually move from a minority to a majority
Our Philosophy
To grow and spread the U30 initiative nationally, soaking up knowledge and applying our skills on court.Our goal is to discover the next generation of tennis professionals, and get them involved.
Who We Are
We are a young, organized, and strong group that takes our commitment to our task very seriously. We have sub‐committees for fundraising, website, membership, continued education, leadership opportunities and profile pages for our U‐30 members. We hold monthly conference calls to stay on the same page and continue our efforts to our next goal. We also attend USPTA as well as USTA conventions as a group.
